Parley Services offers mental health consulting and ABA therapies including Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for anyone over the age of 13 throughout British Columbia.
Parleys’ Applied Behaviour Analysts (ABA) and Therapists offer client-centered, solution-focused therapy and intervention. Our Practice Leader is also fully qualified as a Clinical Counselor and rehabilitation specialist. ABA has a unique opportunity to support survivors whose behaviours do not adapt to the new circumstances after an acquired brain injury. We analyse the function of pre-injury behaviours and how they combined with new brain functions to elicited the post injury adaptations. The new perspective leads to solutions for the post-injury functioning that has not adapted effectively to cope with new circumstances.
We support any person over the age of 13 who is looking for solutions and results in positive life change, with no prescription necessary. A diagnosis or label will never define the people we help, however we do successfully support individuals with acquired brain injuries.
