FACES 2018 – Encephalitis Conference
Encephalitis Global is proud to offer a FACES conference in a different North American venue each year. FACES- Friends And Caregivers, Encephalitis Survivors - allows people touched by encephalitis to share information and support while they learn more. Speakers at FACES may include survivors, caregivers, medical professionals, therapists and others who can help deal with the impact of encephalitis.
BrainX 2018 – Symposium on Brain Injury
BRAINx will showcase speakers who will explore brain injury from multiple perspectives including youth and mental health, employment, homelessness, personal litigation, intimate partner violence, neuropsychology, prevention in the workplace, aboriginal considerations, and an inspiring story of survival. One of the presentations will be from Patti Flaherty sharing “Real Life Stories and their Human Value”.
