    After Stroke, a program of March of Dimes Canada is a national service offering support, education and community programs for stroke survivors, their caregivers and families. In British Columbia, the Stroke Recovery Association of British Columbia (SRABC) is an affiliate of After Stroke. After Stroke connects stroke survivors with a network of support that can help them reclaim their independence, their sense of community and their ability to thrive. Some of their services include:

    • free information packages & newsletters & recovery videos
    • community stroke recovery programs for stroke survivors & caregivers
    • other support programs at SRABC and March of Dimes Canada
    • events

    The Warmline (1-888-540-6666) is a tool to connect survivors and caregivers and give people a chance to talk with someone who has been through a similar circumstance.

    Note: This is an online service that is available across Canada. The address provided has been used only for general mapping purposes and does not represent the physical location of the service.

    Services are available to individuals living in every BC health authority, including: Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Fraser Health Authority, Island Health Authority, Interior Health Authority and Northern Health Authority.
