The Victoria Brain Injury Society’s mission is to support, educate, and advocate for adults with acquired brain injuries and their families, and to increase community awareness about acquired brain injuries. They offer a 4-week program called “ABI 101” which is an informative introduction to brain anatomy and brain injury for brain injury survivors and their families. This course discusses brain function and brain injury, with a focus on causes, effects and recovery. Each 4-week session is tailored to the clients who signed up.
