The Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) has announced the 2021 Canadian Concussion in Sport Virtual Symposium is open for registration and will take place on February 9, 2021 on Zoom.
This event offers two sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Participants will hear from leaders in the sports industry who have the evidence and have changed their programs to help prevent concussion and how to use the data to inform practice.

- Concussions are the most common form of head injury caused by an impact or forceful motion of the head or other part of the body, resulting in rapid movement of the brain within the skull.
- You do not have to lose consciousness to have sustained a concussion.
