Adapted programming is available for persons with disabilities. Examples of adapted programs are swimming, handcycling, weight training, fitness challenge, and yoga. Some adapted programs are offered specifically for persons with disabilities, and some are offered in integration with non-disabled persons. For those who require assistance when attending a class, people can bring someone with them or ask for volunteer assistance if it is available. Before you start a class, contact a Recreation Access Coordinator for information about each program and the adaptability solutions that are offered.

A Program Support form must be completed when registering for adapted programs. You can pick up the form at a recreation centre or online here.

      Located in: Fraser Health Authority.
