by

Are you a school, municipality, community group, or non-profit organization in Canada ready to make your spaces more accessible? Apply for one of 40 accessibility grants of up to $40,000 from the RBC Barrier Buster Grants Program before March 15, 2026 to complete an access-improvement project in your community.

The Rick Hansen Foundation is partnering with RBC and RBC Foundation to empower communities across the country to remove physical barriers and create spaces that welcome people of all ages and abilities through the RBC Barrier Buster Grants Program.

Barrier Buster projects improve access to physical spaces. They can be as diverse as the communities that create them.

Eligible applicants must:

  • Be based in Canada
  • Be a registered charity, a qualified donee, or an incorporated non-profit organization (see CRA website for more information)
  • Host a community engagement event
