This is a two day online event: February 24 – 25, 2021 (10 am – 4 pm)

Moving Ahead–Putting knowledge of brain injury in intimate partner violence into practice seeks to bring together academics and researcher with front line workers, service provider organizations, clinicians, law enforcement, health care, policy makers, and funders, among others in the gender-based violence sector, to learn about, discusss, brainstorm,. and network, around the topic of brain injury in intimate partner violence.

Speakers Include:

Rachel Louise Snyder: Rachel Louise Snyder is an American professor, journalist, and author of No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us. 

Dr. Eve Valera: An Associate Professor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a Research Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has worked int eh fiedl of domestic violence for over 25 years.
