Dr. Lily Wenya Zhou - Neurologist (Mandarin)

Dr. Lily Wenya Zhou is a stroke neurologist at Vancouver General Hospital, fluent in both Mandarin and English. She specializes in treating patients with neurological emergencies such as stroke and is passionate about helping them recover their abilities. “I love being a neurologist. A person’s neurology makes up a huge part of their identity, what they’re able to do day-to-day. Helping those people is incredible,” says Dr. Zhou. “When we catch those people early and provide care for them, we can reverse the problem completely.

Consultations with Dr. Zhou are covered under BC’s Medical Services Plan (MSP) with a referral. Dr. Zhou is also an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Neurology.
