Power to Be

Adaptive Recreation programs like “Power to Be” support people living with a disability or barrier in experiencing inclusive recreational activities while exploring nature and their natural abilities. They adapt their programs to participants and provide the equipment and support participants may need to experience year-round adventures. Participants range in age from seven to adults, and are experiencing a wide range of barriers, including cognitive and physical disabilities, mental health considerations, injuries and illnesses.
