Each year, the BC Brain Injury Association (BCBIA) organizes an event to raise awareness of the organization and its efforts in helping to improve the lives of people with acquired brain injuries. This year the event will take place on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster, BC from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
The AGM will take place from 5:30pm to 5:50pm and we encourage all our members to attend to vote on annual business. Non-members can join us from 6:00pm onwards for the celebration portion of the evening where we will have various presentations on the achievements of BCBIA and a networking reception where light snacks and drinks will be served.
The evening will be a wonderful opportunity to network with friends and colleagues from the BC Brain Injury Community, meet the BCBIA Board of Directors, and learn about exciting new projects that the organization has under way. Presentations will include information on navigating the system, hearing stories from brain injury survivors and more!
5:30-5:50pm Annual General Meeting (Members only)
7:50-9:00pm Networking Reception
Stay tuned as we announce more event details in the coming weeks.
